HSLAB Print Logger
ID #1093
Why in my workgroup user names in statistics and reports is shown as a "Guest"?
If you're using Print Logger software with workgroup, you should correct some local policy settings:
- On printserver (or rcomputer) where Print Logger is installed, create local users with same names and passwords like on remote computers (print clients).
- Start Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Local Security Policy.
- Go to the Security Settings->Local Policies->Security Options or Start->Run, %SystemRoot%\system32\secpol.msc /s and click OK.
Please set the "Network access: Sharing and security model for local accounts" value to: "Classic - local users authenticate as themselves".
