Software updates and technical support

Software updates and technical support are provided for one year with the purchase of a software license and registration key. After that, updates and technical support may be renewed annually. You may renew before or after the expiration of your previous coverage. Regardless of when the renewal fee is paid, the coverage is extended for a year from the end of the previous year of coverage.

Minor Upgrades

All MINOR UPGRADES are FREE during purchased period of updates and technical support service. (i.e., 1.1, 1.2, 1.x, etc.) A MINOR UPGRADE is any change to a program that modifies less than 25% of the existing code.

Major Upgrades

In general, all MAJOR UPGRADES (i.e., 1.0, 2.0, x.0, etc.) require full re-registration. However, depending on the type of program, customers may not be charged for MAJOR UPGRADES. A MAJOR UPGRADE is defined as a 25% or more change in a program's code. This change can be made by either adding new code or re-writing old code. All major upgrades significantly modify the program's function or interface or both.
